At least two dozen attacks, including acts of arson and vandalism, have been reported in Rafsanjan in Kerman province in recent months.On 4 October, a wedding boutique owned by Baha’is was burned. Other incidents of persecution include shutting down of retail businesses, anti-Baha’i materials delivered to homes, attacks published in the local newspaper, menacing gestures made toward Baha’is, destruction by fire of a car owned by a Baha’i, and costly vandalism to vehicles and homes.
