Access Denied

Summer vacation finished and the new academic year started in Iran, yet the Baha’i students have no right to enrol and access higher education throughout the whole country.

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad visited Columbia University on 24 September 2007. He had visited a well known reputable university, yet he is the president of a country that has denied Baha’is accessing higher education throughout the whole country.

"Man did not enter society to be worse off, or to have fewer rights, but rather to have those rights better secured." - Thomas Paine

these words hold so true... this article still amazes me - how can it be possible to deny the basic right of freedom to such a large population of a country?

You are right, unfurtunately currently the Baha'is of Iran are suffering beyond our imagination.
